When you are constructing your snail farm, you need to consider an enabling environment where your snail farm will thrive. The environment should be free from diseases, too much heat and direct sunlight. Snails love cool and dark places.
It should be a wet or moist environment, possibly covered with shrubs, plants and trees to shield your snail farm from harsh weather conditions. Your snail farm should have sufficient space to allow snail movement around the pen. Also, consider the fact that the snail hatchlings will grow and expand in size, thereby taking more space.
Your snails should also be protected from rodents, birds and attacks from other predators such as snakes. Hence, the need for them to be safe guarded at all times to prevent unexpected losses.
Considering the requirements highlighted here when constructing your snail farm will ensure their survival and good breeding capability.
