Sourcing For Snails

Snails can be sourced from bushes and forest directly at no cost. If you are going to do that, just make sure you are wearing safety gadgets. They can also be sourced from snail markets. You might want to consider buying special breeds from agriculture research institutes near you.

Snails can also be sourced from reputable local snail farms. You can decide to start from rearing hatchlings or juveniles until they attain full maturity. You could also rear adult snails which have immense capability to reproduce by laying dozens of eggs. This is another good source of stock replenishment by means of reproduction with little or no cost.

Adult snails can be disposed in the market and immediately replaced by their hatchling until they attain maturity and the cycle goes on and on. This is where you make more money by just recycling your snail stock over and over again.

But patience, adequate feeding and good maintenance practice is the secret to bumper harvest and good sales proceed.
