Remember, snail farming is not a day job. It takes about 7 – 12 months for snail hatchlings and juveniles to properly mature, in other words, growing into marketable sizes before they start reproducing by laying eggs and that is when you might consider them fit for sales to the consuming public.
Don’t forget to replace your old stock by collecting those eggs which will hatch in 32 days’ time to become your new stock.
Harvesting is the period you stand to reap the reward of your time and money invested in snail farming – A bumper harvest and good return on your investment.
